“InterVid” is a Subscription-based service providing access to recruitment services encompassing video interviews, electronic CVs, contact details and other recruitment related tools and services.
1. Definitions of words and phrases used in these Terms and Conditions
The Company means InterVid Productions, a Company with offices at : 87 Lapwood Avenue, Crestwood Park, Kingswinford, West Midlands DY6 8RW
InterVid means the video interview which is filmed of a jobseeker and posted on the InterVid website
Goods means any electronic media produced by InterVid – video interviews, CVs, Profiles
Jobseeker means anyone registered on the InterVid website for the purposes of finding employment
Employer means anyone registered on the InterVid website for the purposes of recruiting Jobseekers to their business
Agency means anyone registered on the InterVid website for the purpose of identifying prospective candidates for temporary and permanent employment at their client’s organisations
You or Your means the person who is named on the subscription documentation and who authorises InterVid to transact on their behalf
Subscription means the agreement between the Company and the Jobseeker, Employer or Agency for the provision of services, paid or un paid and renewable annually.
2. Application of Terms
2.1 Subject to any variation under condition 2.2, the Contract shall be on these conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
2.2 These conditions apply to all The Company’s sales and any variation to these conditions and any representations about the work and/or goods shall have no effect unless expressly agreed in writing and signed by The Company. The Company reserves the right to amend the date scheduled for the work whether booked online or otherwise. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on behalf of The Company which is not set out in the Contract. Nothing in this condition shall exclude or limit The Company’s liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
2.3 Each acceptance of a quotation for work and/or goods by you from InterVid shall be deemed to be an offer by you to obtain work and/or goods subject to these conditions.
2.4 No order placed by you either online or otherwise shall be deemed to be accepted by The Company until a written acknowledgement is issued by The Company, or (if earlier), The Company either provides work or delivers goods to you.
3. Your Status
By placing an order with The Company, you warrant that:
a. you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
b. you are at least 16 years old for Jobseekers and 18 years old for Employers and Agencies; and
c. you have the authority of the Business you represent to do so.
4. Duration of InterVid Subscription
4.1 An InterVid subscription lasts for 12 months and is paid for in advance in a lump sum (where applicable).
4.2 If InterVid Subscription is paid annually by Direct Debit or Continuous Credit Card Authority, The Company will renew your subscription automatically at the end of each subscription year. A notice will be sent to advise of the premium payable and any changes to InterVid Terms and Conditions that will take effect at renewal. If you do not want to renew on this basis, you should contact The Company at least 7 days prior to renewal on 01384 839196 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
5. Cancelation of InterVid Subscription
5.1 You have the right to cancel your subscription within a 14 day ‘cooling off period’, commencing either from the agreement of the contract (which is the renewal date for renewing annual subscribers) or the receipt of confirmation, whichever happens later.
5.2 If you cancel during the cooling off period but have used The Company’s services during the cooling off period you are not entitled to receive a refund of the subscription fee paid. If requested, you should promptly return any membership documentation and must not, in any event, make further use of the cancelled membership.
5.3 Please note that there will be no separate or additional cooling off period(s) during the membership year, regardless of any changes that are made to the membership. If you cancel your membership at any other time you will not be entitled to a refund of the premium paid.

6. Eligibility and Accessibility
6.1 Access to The Company’s services is only available for jobseekers from 16 years of age and over seeking permanent or temporary work in the UK on a full-time or part-time basis and to Businesses wishing to use the InterVid website to directly or indirectly offer employment to jobseekers.
6.2 In addition to the specification set out above, the following terms also apply :
6.2.1 Access to the video service is only available for an individual Jobseeker who has been registered under an InterVid subscription at the time of booking.
6.3 Every effort is made to ensure the maximum number of people can access the InterVid Service and we have invested in intelligent streaming technology to ensure most people can view our videos without buffering.
6.3.1 Before subscribing to InterVid you should watch one of the demonstration videos to test your internet connection.
6.3.2 The Company cannot take any responsibility for infrastructure issues and low bandwidth affecting your ability to view videos in your browser.
7. Subscriptions and Services
7.1 Subscriptions are paid for in advance where applicable.
7.2 All subscriptions are renewed annually for Employers and Agencies regardless of whether charges apply.
7.3 Trial Periods – where a trial period is offered this will be subject to the terms of this agreement. The Company will notify the subscriber before the end of the trial period and advise of any future charges. There is no lock-in and no charges will apply as a result of registering for a free trial.
8.1 Jobseekers are required to register on the site and pay a fee for their InterVid. Once registered the jobseeker can book their InterVid at a mutually acceptable location and date. The jobseeker then needs to create a profile and can upload a copy of their CV to the site.
8.2 It is the jobseekers responsibility to ensure the information they supply is current and accurate.
8.3 Jobseekers can keep their subscription active indefinitely as long as they are seeking work and their profile is accurate and current. Usually this will mean having their InterVid updated annually at renewal (charges may apply). Once the jobseeker is no longer looking for work their InterVid profile will be archived and will no longer be accessible by Agencies and Employers.
8.4 Those seeking temporary work can keep their profile open when on assignments as long as they keep their availability status up to date in their profile availability gadget. Likewise, employed jobseekers are also required to keep their availability up to date and should remember that their current employer could be a member of InterVid and see their profile.
8.5 If the InterVid needs to be reshot after a period of time to ensure the footage is current then this can be arranged with InterVid Productions (charges apply). The Company reserves the right to remove Jobseeker profiles that are not up-to-date or deliberately mislead employers.
8.6 For privacy reasons, only subscribed Employers and Agencies are able to access the jobseeker search area and view the jobseekers InterVid, profile, CV and contact details.
8.7 InterVid Productions take no responsibility for the accuracy of information in profiles or for any consequences arising from profiles being viewed.
8.8 Jobseekers can opt to receive a daily or weekly email alert detailing all new job vacancies posted on the InterVid platform (charges may apply).
8.9 Jobseekers are required to sign a release form before their InterVid can be filmed. A copy of the release form is available to download on the www.Intervid-productions.co.uk website.
9.1 Employers’ subscriptions last for 12 months and are renewed automatically on the anniversary of taking out your membership.
9.2 Additional charges for services will be calculated and billed monthly in arrears. Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date and applicable interest rates will be charged for late payment.
9.3 Failure to settle any outstanding amounts could lead to The Company suspending your InterVid account and taking legal action to recover outstanding fees.
9.4 Employers can opt to receive a daily or weekly email alert detailing all new jobseekers joining the InterVid platform (charges may apply).
9.5 Employers may post job vacancies on the InterVid platform (charges may apply).
9.6 It is the Employers responsibility to ensure they comply with any applicable legislation. InterVid Productions cannot be held responsible for breaches in law by its members. We will investigate complaints fully and may suspend or remove members found to not be acting within the law. No refunds will be given if this happens.
10. Recruitment Agencies
10.1 Agencies’ subscriptions last for 12 months and are renewed automatically on the anniversary of taking out your membership.
10.2 Additional charges for services will be calculated and billed monthly in arrears. Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date and applicable interest rates will be charged for late payment.
10.3 Failure to settle any outstanding amounts could lead to The Company suspending your InterVid account and taking legal action to recover outstanding fees.
10.4 Agencies can opt to receive a daily or weekly email alert detailing all new jobseekers joining the InterVid platform (charges may apply).
10.5 Agencies may post job vacancies on the InterVid platform (charges may apply)
10.6 It is the Agencies responsibility to ensure they comply with any applicable legislation. InterVid Productions cannot be held responsible for breaches in law by its members. We will investigate complaints fully and may suspend or remove members found to not be acting within the law. No refunds will be given if this happens.
11. Pricing Review
11.1 The Company reserves the right to periodically review and alter prices as necessary.
11.2 Changes to pricing will be communicated to members before they are applied.
11.3 Electronic VAT invoices will be provided monthly for all charges.
11.4 All prices given are inclusive of value added tax at such rate as is determined by law from time to time.
12.1 Copyright of all InterVid videos is held by InterVid Productions.
13. Loss, damage and liability
13.1 The Company shall not be responsible for any unforeseeable losses; losses that were not caused by The Company or its employees’, agents’ or representatives’ negligence or for any business losses. This does not affect any claim that You may have for death or personal injury. Nothing in this condition will affect Your statutory rights that the Work is performed with due skill and care, that the Goods supplied are of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose and that products or services correspond with their description.
14.1 The Company shall be entitled to appoint any of its network of Video technicians as its agent and sub-contractor to carry out its obligations under this agreement.
15.1 Due to time constraints and editing it is not generally possible for the jobseeker to view their InterVid at the time of filming. Every effort is made to ensure that the film is of an editable standard. Should the final production InterVid not meet with our high standards then it will be re filmed at the Company’s expense.
15.2 For the avoidance of doubt, 15.1 refers to technical issues relating to the picture or sound quality.
15.3 The Company will not edit the clip to misrepresent the jobseeker but will always take reasonable steps to portray them at their best.
15.4 The Company takes no responsibility for Jobseekers who fail to read the pre shoot guidance notes and instructions. Where this requires a new InterVid to be shot then the Company reserves the right to make additional charges.
15.5 If You have a complaint regarding the Work or Goods of The Company‘s agent or representative You should contact The Company in the first instance. The Company will investigate any dispute or complaint regarding the Work or Goods and will reasonably endeavour to notify You within 30 days of the results of such investigation. This shall not restrict or prevent You from exercising any legal remedy.
15.6 You must contact The Company at The Customer Services Centre on telephone number 01384 839196 to have remedial Work undertaken under this guarantee. You must NOT contact The Company’s agent or representative directly.
15.7 The Company at its sole discretion will decide where any remedial Work is undertaken. All reasonable efforts will be made to undertake such Work at a location convenient to You.
16. Changes to Terms and Conditions
16.1 The Company is entitled to change any of the Terms and Conditions of InterVid Membership at renewal.
16.2 The Company also reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions during the membership year, on the giving of reasonable notice, where it reasonably considers this necessary in order to comply with any applicable laws, regulations or the advice or instruction of any regulatory authority.
17. Written Communications
17.1 Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications The Company send to You should be in writing. When using The Company’s website or contacting us by telephone, You accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. The Company will contact You by e-mail or provide You with information by posting notices on The Company’s website. For contractual purposes, You agree to this electronic means of communication and You acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that The Company provide to You electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect Your statutory rights.
18. Using Personal Information
18.1 Information You provide or The Company hold about You (whether or not under the agreement with You) may be used by us or our agents to:
a. identify You when You contact us;
b. help identify accounts, services and products which You could have from us from time to time (we may do this using an automatic scoring system, which uses the information You have provided, any information we hold about You and information from other agencies, including credit-reference agencies);
c. help run and contact You about the improved running of any accounts, services and products we have provided before, or provide now or in the future (we may contact You by email or text message if You have given us these contact details);
d. create statistical and testing information and carry out marketing analysis and customer profiling (including using information about what You buy from us and how You pay for it, for example usage rates and any discounts we have offered You – these are examples only and not a complete list);
e. help to prevent and detect fraud or loss; and
f. contact You in any way (including mail, e-mail, phone, visit, text or multimedia messages) about products and services offered by The Company and selected partners.
18.2 We may allow other people and organisations to use information we hold about You:
a. to provide services You have asked for;
b. to help to prevent and detect debt, fraud or loss. In addition, if You have failed to pay us, in which case we may transfer Your debt to another organisation and provide them with details about You and that debt;
c. if we have been asked to provide information for legal or regulatory purposes; or
d. as part of current or future legal proceedings.
18.3 We may also allow Your information to be used by other Group companies for them to carry out any of the above purposes.
18.4 Your information may be used for training purposes. We may also monitor and record communications with You (including phone conversations and e-mails) for quality assurance and to make sure that we are meeting our legal and regulatory requirements.
18.5 If You give The Company information on behalf of someone else, You confirm You have given them the information set out in this document, and that they have given permission for their personal information to be used in the way we have described. If You give us sensitive information about yourself or others (such as health details or details of any criminal convictions of members of Your household), You agree (and confirm that the person the information is about has agreed) to us processing this information in the way set out in this document.
18.7 Only registered employers and agencies can undertake a jobseeker search to view candidated. However, we have provided a facility for a jobseeker to forward a link to their profile page out to anyone they choose. We cannot take any responsibilty for how any third party teats your personal information and you do so at your own risk.
19. Interpretation of Law and Language
19.1 These terms and conditions and any agreement formed resulting from them shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
19.2 The headings to the sections of these conditions are for convenience only and have no substantive meaning.
